This site is built for older eyes and hands. You can change how it looks at any time using the bar at the bottom of every page — nothing here is permanent, and you can change it back just as easily.
Try the controls
These are the same controls that float at the bottom of the screen.
100%
Text size
Use the minus and plus buttons to step through four presets: 100%, 125%, 150%, and 175%. Every heading, label, button, and form field grows together, so nothing overlaps or gets cut off. The percentage between the buttons always shows your current setting.
High contrast
Turn this on for stronger black-on-white text, darker borders, and heavier focus outlines. It is designed to exceed WCAG AAA contrast levels, which helps in bright rooms, with glare, or with low vision.
Reduce motion
Turns off fades, sliding panels, and smooth size transitions across the site. Helpful if movement on screen causes dizziness or makes reading harder. If your device already asks for reduced motion, we respect that automatically.
Saved for next time
Your choices are stored on this device right away. When you are signed in, they are also saved to your account, so the same text size and contrast follow you to your phone, tablet, or a family member's computer.
Other things we do
Every image has a written description for screen readers.
All buttons and links can be reached with the Tab key and show a clear focus outline.
Tap targets are at least 44 pixels tall, so they are easy to hit on a phone.
Forms explain errors in plain words and announce them to screen readers.
